Lisle Digidown

Unit for downloading data from digital tachograph vehicle units (VUs) and driver cards (DCs). To do this simply connect the Digidown to the VU via the connector lead and VU connector on the front of the VU. There are then 3 buttons available.
(All VU) - Pressing this causes the Digidown to download all the data stored in the VU.
(Latest VU) - Pressing this causes the Digidown to download only the latest data since the last download.
(Card) - Pressing this causes the Digidown to download the data from the driver card if this is inserted in the VU at the time of the download.

During operation the three LEDs by the buttons indicate the progress of the download activities. The downloaded data is stored in the SD memory card inserted in the Digidown. The downloaded data can then be transfered to storage software and to any appropriate driver's hours analysis software. This can be done via the USB port, (lead supplied), on the Digidown or alternatively by removing the SD card and sending to a head office, (Useful for out-bases), the data can then be read by an SD card reader.

The Digidown Plus is a convenient, portable unit for downloading data directly from a digital tachograph vehicle unit (VU). It also includes a built-in card reader to allow driver card downloads to be carried out away from the vehicle. The downloaded data can then be transfered to a PC at a later date.

This robust but lightweight device comes complete with the required VU cable connector, and is compatible with all makes of digital tachograph used within Europe. Included in the package is an SD memory card, 2 x AA batteries, USB PC connector cable and mounting bracket. The SD card has sufficient memory to hold many years' worth of VU and card data, and/or data from many vehicles and cards.

The downloaded data can be transferred to a PC very easily using the supplied USB transfer cable, especially when used in conjunction with the EasyTac downloader software, which will automatically name and store the files in an appropriate location.
